Day 1

Arrival in Tanzania

To day you will arrive in Tanzania. A representative of Bush focus safari will pick you up from Kilimanjaro Airport and will bring you to Arusha town, where you will spend your first night

Day 2

Tarangire National Park

After breakfast you will start your safari in the morning, your guide will pick you up from Safari hotel and you will drive to Tarangire National Park. The Tarangire National Park originates from the Tarangire River that crosses through the park, being the only source of water for wild animals during dry season. During the dry season thousands of animals migrate to the Tarangire National Park from Manyara National Park. The park is reputed to contain some of the largest elephant herds in Africa. This park is also home of three rare species of animals, the Greater kudu, the Fringed-eared Oryx. It lies a little distance to the south east of Lake Manyara and covers an area of 2,850km2. The landscape and vegetation is incredibly diverse with a mix that is not anywhere else in the northern circuit. The hilly landscape is dotted with vast numbers of Baobab trees, dense bush and high grasses, Flora and Fauna, as well as a few Starlings. After an enjoying picnic lunch we do an afternoon game drive.

Day 3

Lake Manyara National Park

After break fast you will starts your safari in the morning, your guide will pick you up from Rift Valley and will drive to Lake Manyara National Park. We will arrive after 3 hours in the park and we will start the game drive. Manyara’s mix of lake and forest habitats and is the  one of those national parks which offers rich and diverse game viewing within a reasonably small area. The park offers a mosaic of vegetation habitats which can sustain a high density of wildlife. Its ground water forest which acts like a giant filtering sponge which gradually releases water so it can flow gently into streams, instead of running off, prevents the soil from eroding, from it’s high concentrations of animals such as elephant, buffalo, antelope, unique tree-climbing lions as well as large flocks of flamingos attracted by the algae in the lake. The park is diverse with both wildlife and vegetation; with its location at the base of the east African rift valley along the Gregory rift it offers spectacular viewing of the escarpment. From it’s thick ground water forest at the park entrance to its more arid acacia woodland on the south. Its one of the best area for elephant viewing and close encounters is very common. The bird life here is also exceptional. Because of its thick bush and forested areas, viewing of cats also is common; we will enjoy picnic lunch on the bush garden floor. Then we will continue with afternoon game drive viewing in the park, then in the late afternoon head to the Camp

Day 4

Transfer to Serengeti National Park

After breakfast we will drive to Serengeti National Park, via beautiful high lying farmland of Karatu and the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Leaving the highlands behind, we descent behind into the heart of wild Africa-the Serengeti National Park-with its endless plains, rolling into the distance as far as eye can see then we head to the central park area known as the Seronera Area. One of the richest wildlife habitats in the park, featuring the Seronera River which provides a valuable water source to this area and therefore attracts wildlife well representative most of the Serengeti’s species. We will arrive in time for lunch and spending afternoon at leisure.

Day 5

you will spend a full day in Serengeti National Park. The Serengeti is located along the rift valley and is abound with geological formation. One of Serengeti’s defining features is its kopjes pronounced copy, a feature of continual weathering. These Islands in the Sea of grass are formed as the top soil comprising of rock and ash is eroded exposing the covered layer of metamorphic rock. These exposed forms “kopjes” are around as a result of spherical wind weathering. The National Park covers an area of 14800km2 most of which is grass plains a result of ash deposited by volcanic eruptions, and is home to 3 million animals. Within these grass plains the scattered kopjes act as a heaven for animal from grass fires, predators and the heat. The game drives in this park are exceptional and superb game viewing. This park offers the best opportunity of viewing Cheetah, Leopard, and Lions. We will enjoy picnic lunch on the Serengeti Plains floor

Day 6

Transfer to Ngorongoro Conservation Area

After breakfast at the lodge we depart to Ngorongoro Conservation Area. We will stopover at Olduvai Gorge, boasting with a history dating back the dawn of time. It was here, that anthropologists Drs. Lois and Mary Leakey discovered the skulls of the ‘Nutcracker Man’ and ‘Handy Man’ both very significant links in the chain of human evolution. We arrive in late afternoon at the lodge and spending afternoon time at leisure.

Day 7

Ngorongoro Crater

To day we will spend a full day in Ngorongoro Crater. After breakfast we descend at 6:00am into this magnificent crater for a full-day game drive. Ngorongoro Conservation Area is Maasai Country, and you will meet many red-blanketed Maasai whose cattle share grazing rights with wildlife. Ngorongoro Crater is a unique crater known as a caldera. A caldera is the after effect of a volcanic collapse, an implosion rather than explosion, the Ngorongoro is found within the Ngorongoro Conservation Area authority and ecologically it covers an area of 8,300km2 with varied terrain and altitudes. The Ngorongoro Conservation Area supports a vast of variety of animals, which include herd of wildebeest, zebra, buffalo, eland, warthog, hippo and giant African elephant, also the Park having a huge population of predators which includes lions, hyenas, jackals, cheetahs, and the ever elusive leopard. The measures and average of 18 kilometers in diameter and approximately 700 meter vertical drop. Apart from being home to 25000 large animals it forms part Serengeti-Ngorongoro-Masai Mara ecosystem. This ecosystem allows for the free movement of 1.5 million animals in their continuous search for green pastures known as the migration. We will enjoy a picnic lunch on the crater floor.

Day 8

Ngorongoro

After breakfast we are going nature walking Safaris through Ngorongoro Conservation Area, when you hear the word Ngorongoro, what is next that comes to your mind? Ngorongoro Crater is rightly renowned for its outstanding natural beauty and abundance of wildlife. However there is a lot more to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area than just the Crater, and many visitors leave the area without having had the opportunity to see more of what is on offer. The surrounding highlands include seven extinct volcanoes full of out standing beauty and spectacular scenery. The best way to appreciate these attractions is by walking. Even a short walk of only an hour or two can be very rewarding and there are also many opportunities for longer hikes. After spending days sitting in vehicle, some visitor do say they would like to stretch their legs. Drive from starting point in the crater rim about 5 km from the Rhino Lodge. The walk is along the western rim of the crater past the Olorobi viewpoint. There are patches of forest at the beginning, which later opens up to thickest and grasslands. You will have beautiful views down into the crater on your right. A good time of walking would be early the morning before your game drive departs, or late afternoon a day on safari.

Day 9-14

Day 9-14

After breakfast at the lodge we will drive from Ngorongoro Conservation Area to Kilimanjaro Airport. From here you will fly to the tropical island of the Zanzibar. Zanzibar is an island of the east coast of Tanzania.  This magnificent island has pearl white beaches, a clear blue sea and pleasant temperature that fluctuate between 25 and 35 degrees Celsius, you will spend your holiday relaxing on Zanzibar Island’s picture-perfect beaches and exploring it’s old Stone town a Unesco World Heritage site. A driver is waiting for you at the Airport back and will bring you to your hotel.

Day 15

Flight to Dar es Salaam

A driver will bring you to Zanzibar Airport. From here you will fly to Dar es salaam Airport. From Dar es Salaam you will fly back to home. From here your safari of Tanzania and Zanzibar will be end.
